Soak up Sydney’s gorgeous harbour, seductive outdoor lifestyle and great natural beauty. Cruise under the Sydney Harbour Bridge or wave at the Opera House as you ride a ferry across the harbour to Manly. Learn to surf at Bondi Beach or swim in the calm waters of Coogee. Lose yourself in the cobblestone cul-de-sacs of The Rocks or in the markets, boutiques, cafes and pubs of Paddington. As well as a world-famous harbour and more than 70 sparkling beaches, Sydney offers fabulous food, festivals and 24/7 fun.
Your 3 hour tour commences with a comprehensive briefing and safety demonstration, before you are led by one of BridgeClimb’s Climb Leaders, on a guided journey (including preparation and briefing), to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The tour takes you along the top arch of the Bridge on catwalks and ladders all the way to the summit, 134 metres above Sydney Harbour. The steady incline to the summit leaves you free to focus your attention on the surroundings, with the opportunity to witness 360 degree views of Sydney including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbour City surrounds. This 4 hour tour provides you with the opportunity to see Australia’s largest city and New South Wales’ capital, Sydney. Visit the historic Rocks area and hear early convict history. Enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. See the shopping heart of the city, the Queen Victoria Building and visit Sydney’s trendy Oxford Street district. Travel through elegant Paddington with its terrace houses before arriving at the Pacific Ocean where you will see the superb coastal cliff walk around Tamarama and Bronte. Travel on to famous Bondi Beach, visit the beachfront promenade and enjoy a coffee or cool drink (own expense). See bronzed Aussie lifesavers and Sydney’s best panoramic view at Dover Heights. Return to the city via Double Bay, Kings Cross and Mrs Macquarie’s Point for a final magical viewpoint over the harbour. Your tour concludes at either Circular Quay or Darling Harbour/King St Wharf precinct. Make your own way back to your accommodation.
Relax while you take in the sights of Sydney from the water with a 3 hour afternoon cruise. Experience the vastness of Sydney Harbour with its many secluded beaches and spectacular sandstone cliffs. Listen to commentary on the history of Sydney Harbour as well as details of the marine life that inhabits its sandy beaches, grassy sea beds and rocky shores. This 9 hour tour travels to the Blue Mountains. Stop at Calmsley Hill, a working farm also home to Kangaroo, Emu, Wombat and Koala. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure. Visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas and enjoy a stress and hurry free environment. Arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Enjoy lunch at Echoes Restaurant, perched at the absolute edge of the Blue Mountains, with views of mountains, cliff edges and lush rainforest valleys. After lunch, visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Your last stop at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens where there is time for a short inspection of the flora including the ancient Wollemi Pine. The cultural and culinary benefits of such a melting pot are best experienced at Darwin's weekly markets, variety of restaurants and through the annual calendar of festivals and other events.

Travel from Darwin to Fogg Dam, a vast, open wetland area that is home to large numbers of colourful birds during the Top End dry season. Moving on, you will cross the Marrakai plains and the Adelaide River. Stop at the Purple Mango Café for a morning tea, and then join a small group scenic cruise around the picturesque Corroboree billabong, viewing a large variety of wetland birds including Jabiru, Ibis, Brolga, Jacana, Egrets, Herons, Kites, Sea Eagles, Whistling ducks, Magpie, Geese and many others. There is also the opportunity to spot saltwater crocodiles in their natural environment. This is part of the Mary River wetlands system, which has the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. After the cruise, travel off the highway down the old Jim Jim 4WD dirt track into Kakadu, where you will have ample opportunity to view bird and wildlife at numerous waterholes along the way.Day 7: Kakadu National Park to Darwin (Gulumerrdgen)

After breakfast, travel to Nanguluwur rock art and Aboriginal occupation sites. The Nanguluwur site is less well known, so you are well away from tourist crowds, yet it has some excellent examples of rock art, including the rare and ancient ‘dynamic figures’. There are also examples of the famous ‘x-ray’ style art and so called ‘contact period’ art, when Aboriginal people had first contact with white man. Your guide will explain the unique art and rich culture of the area. Travel south to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) to spend the afternoon in this picturesque area. At the end of a monsoonal forest walk, you can enjoy a swim in a refreshing, natural plunge pool with a beautiful, perennial waterfall cascading above you. Travel back to Darwin where you will be transferred to your Darwin city accommodation.Day 8: Litchfiled National Park

Your 9.5 tour commences with a visit to some of Darwin’s highlights where your guide will explain the brief history of the city, including the air raid bombings during World War II and Cyclone Tracy, which devastated the city in 1974. Travel along the Stuart Highway before turning off along the outback road into Litchfield National Park. Here, you will see some amazing magnetic termite mounds, resembling giant tombstones, as well as the gigantic so-called ‘cathedral’ termite mounds. Some of these tower over 5 metres tall. Continuing further on into Litchfield National Park, you have the chance to cool off, swimming in crystal clear natural plunge pools, under magnificent waterfalls, crocodile-free. You will spend the day exploring this beautiful region, as there are many walks to enjoy in the park. Travel back to Darwin where you will be transferred to your Darwin city accommodation.Day 9: Darwin (Gulumerrdgen)

Enjoy the unique opportunity to feed some of Australia’s largest Saltwater crocodiles as part of a 1.5 hour fully guided tour of the attraction. You will have an introduction to the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles and aquatic creatures of the top end as well as behind the scenes access into the world of the Saltwater Crocodile. Meet some of the more unique reptiles of the Top End in the Reptile House, as your knowledgeable reptile handlers share their passion for the scaly inhabitants that call the Park their home, while sharing information on the unique relationship between some of these reptiles and the indigenous people of the region. Under the supervision of the experienced crocodile handlers, participate in feeding an adult Saltwater crocodile and gain a greater knowledge of one of the world’s most deadly predators. Gain VIP access to the Fishing for Crocs platform and the baby crocodile handling area as part of your tour. At the completion of your tour, please make your way back to your accommodation.
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Stokes Hill Wharf, where you will board your vessel for your 2.5 hour cruise. With beautiful views of the Top End city, there is no better way experience Darwin's renowned sunsets than on board the 'Charles Darwin'. You'll enjoy a sumptuous, Territory-style buffet with fresh Australian seafood and local produce, served in air-conditioned surrounds. Commentary by crew will give you an insight into the Harbour's history, cultural significance, and biodiversity. This cruise is perfect way to experience the world-famous sunsets, followed by Darwin's skyline lit up at night.
